Bobby Seen At Hollywood Hotspot Teddy's
Just a few days after he averted some major legal trouble and his wife of 14 years officially filed to divorce him, TMZ cameras caught up with the former New Edition star last night at Hollywood hotspot Teddy's. Being off the hook for now, Bobby hit the town with a hot date (after chatting it up with supermodel Roshumba) and rolled out of the Roosevelt Hotel in his beautiful ride - a late 90s Land Rover Discovery.
If there's anyone who needs a night out it's Brown, who has had some major issues in his personal life as of late. The singer has been haunted by delinquent child support payments and allegations that self-proclaimed "Video Vixen" Karrine Steffans , may have caused the demise of his marriage. Also, Whitney has petitioned the court for full legal and physical custody of their 13-year-old daughter.
Bottom line: We are just glad he was able to get into Teddy's, he hasn't had the greatest luck with Hollywood doormen.

Whitney says goodbye to Bobby and files for divorce after 14 years
After handling a rocky 14 years of marriage that included drug arrests and visit to rehab clinics, Whitney Houston has finally filed for divorce from Bobby Brown.
The pop diva officially filed divorce papers in Orange County Superior Court this week after filing for legal separation in September, according to information from Houston's publicist Nancy Seltzer.
In the separation papers, the 43 year old singer requested that she be given custody of the couple's 13-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina, and that Brown, 37, be granted visitation rights.
Houston wed Brown (who has always been considered the "bad boy" of hip-hop and R&B) in 1992 while she was at the height of her career with the monster hit "I Will Always Love You." Brown, a giant in the music industry in his own right, had also seen a wave of success as both a solo performer and as a member of the boy band New Edition.
While the couple had seen a successful marriage by Hollywood terms, the 14 year relationship was plagued by Brown's arrest for drugs charges, and even saw Houston twice checking into drug rehabilitation programs. Brown is also facing legal trouble in Massachusetts where he owes delinquent child support for two teenage children he has with another woman.

Bobby off the Hook
TMZ has learned that rapper and Hyde outcast Bobby Brown is officially paid up on his back child support.
Patrick McDermott of the Norfolk, Mass. Probate and Family Court tells TMZ that Brown paid his two-month delinquent child support last week, a bill that totaled $11,000. Kim Ward, the mother of Brown's teenaged daughter La Princia and son Bobby Jr., claimed that Brown owed her two months' support for the children.
It is still not clear, however, about the status of the warrant out for his arrest. A court rep tells TMZ that it will probably be turned back in to the court as unserved and will most likely be vacated.
Brown also has one child with Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina, and an older son, Landon, with another woman.

Bobby Spotted At BET Party
Bobby Brown may have been AWOL from family court but he was front-and-center at a BET function in Beverly Hills Tuesday night to celebrate the "Shocktober" launch of its new season.
With a bench warrant hanging over his head, Brown showed up as if nothing was wrong and mingled with BET's President of Entertainment Reginald Hudlin and other development execs.
So why was Brown at an event touting BET's new season? EUR's Lee Bailey asked if viewers can expect a second season of "Being Bobby Brown" on the network anytime soon. A rep for the network replied: "I can't confirm or deny at this time.....but it seems logical to me."

Bobby Brown Denied Entry Into Club Hyde
Bobby Brown was red flagged last night while trying to enter exclusive Hollywood hotspot Hyde. The doorman completely ignored Brown as Paris Hilton made her always easy, worry-free entrance right in front of him. Bobby had some fans that were just as confused as him saying "You're Bobby Brown, don't they know who you are??" Bobby answers, "I'm not a big celebrity or they would have let me in."
We're not sure why Brown was denied entrance, but it could be one of a couple reasons. Maybe it's because he is now firmly planted on the D-list (and his impending divorce from Whitney Houston doesn't help) or maybe it's the fact that there's a warrant out for his arrest.

Judge unmoved by Brown's travails
It was a case of Bobby being Bobby yesterday as Whitney Houston's husband failed again to show up at a Canton courthouse to discuss his overdue child support payments. The singer's attorney Phaedra Parks told Judge Paula Carey that her client's going through a "very difficult time." Parks apologized and said the check's in the mail. "Bobby [Brown] had other engagements he had to tend to out of the state," she said afterward. "This is just a minor issue, and we plan to bring the payments up to date."
Carey, who's clashed with the Roxbury-bred singer before, was unmoved. "Whether or not he's going through a divorce doesn't negate the fact that he still owes child support relative to two children that he had prior to his marriage," said Carey, who ordered Brown arrested if he so much as sets foot in the Bay State.
Brown has created college funds for his kids with ex-girlfriend Kim Ward but is overdue by about $11,000 in monthly support. Yesterday's contretemps is the first sign Bobby's split from Whitney may affect his finances. "Due to the pending separation with his wife, he has been overwhelmed with other obligations," admitted Parks. So what's next for the New Edition singer? "We're obviously very open to any tour dates," said his attorney. "If you want to book Bobby Brown, give me a call."

Judge orders Bobby Brown arrested after he skips support hearing
CANTON, Mass. -A family judge ordered Bobby Brown arrested if he steps foot in Massachusetts after he failed to show up at a hearing Monday over delinquent child support payments.
Brown's attorney said it's a "very difficult time" for Brown, 37, whose tumultuous marriage to singer Whitney Houston is coming to an end after she filed for a legal separation earlier this month.
"Whether or not he's going through a divorce doesn't negate the fact that he still owes child support relative to his two children that he had prior to his marriage," said Norfolk Probate and Family Court Judge Paula Carey.
Kim Ward, of Stoughton, the mother of two of Brown's children, says Brown owes two months' support, or $11,000.
Brown has a history of legal troubles with those support payments.
In June 2004, Brown was sentenced to 90 days in prison for missing three months of payments. That sentence was immediately suspended after Brown made back payments totaling about $15,000
Brown's attorney, Phaedra Parks, would not say where Brown, a Boston native, is currently living.
"It's just a very difficult time for him, as you can well imagine," said Parks, an Atlanta-based entertainment lawyer. "The media is very aware of this very public divorce that's going on right now. It's unfortunate we find ourselves back in Boston on this matter."
