Ahh, Welcome to the 56th All-Star Game in Las Vegas, home of $5.65 ATM fees and the $10 cab ride to go less than a mile. It's crowded here and it's going to get more crazy once folks who took off work early Friday hit the city limits later tonight.
Let's start with Thursday, which was basically a media-free day, as the All-Stars arrived in town. In the hotel gym at MGM was Moses Malone, who appears slimmer than in his playing days. The talk of the evening was the Alonzo Mourning party which featured a slew of celebrites, current players, former players and various interesting faces. There was a Bobby Brown sighting, and surprisingly he was not surrounded by a posse looking for trouble.
