The album, which was primarily recorded before a major label distribution with Universal Music was contracted, features a number of guest spots including contributions from reggae star Bounty Killer, rappers Black Thought (from The Roots), Nas, brother Stephen Marley (a talented producer and writer in his own right), and surprisingly, and seemingly out of nowhere, Bobby Brown on the excellent single front-runner Beautiful. It's a collaboration that seemed to come together quickly, and quite by chance, as Marley explains. "Well, he's someone my bigger brothers have run into over the years, running into him here and there. I'd never really met him before. It really came about because we did a scene for his TV show, and it wasn't really planned to be about us doing music together. We came in and did the scene and because there was music in the background, it kinda just happened, but it wasn't planned.
"I hear about Bobby Brown from when I was a lickle boy, so I have a whole heap of respect for Bobby Brown as a musician - he's still in that kind of legendary category."
