Singer back in court after ignoring order to set up college fund

CANTON, Mass. R&B singer Bobby Brown was back in a Massachusetts probate court today for allegedly ignoring an order to set up a college fund for two of his children.

A new agreement was hammered out calling for Brown to make the first payment to the education account by the end of the month.

Brown was jailed for one day last March for failing to pay $63,500 he owed to Kim Ward of Stoughton, the mother of two of his children. He was released after paying the debt, but was also ordered to start the education fund.

Brown told reporters he was busy filming a new reality TV show and recording a new album, and thought someone else was taking care of making payments to the fund.
